In addition to tracking bugs and enhancements through the EDAS2 Tracker at http://www.edas2.com/tracker , we will also describe Known Issues that are persistent. These are likely out of our control and may be due to items such as bugs with underlying technology like databases and application frameworks.
We will pursue fixes for these items, but we are unlikely to be able to address them as part of the project.
Know issues with EDAS2:
On the monitoring location screen an exception/error is thrown when the user tries to do something with the non-map controls (grid/filters) while the map is making a request through Seam Remoting. This is an issue with Seam Remoting and the termination of a conversation by Seam. This usually happens when trying to get the STORET stations. The exact nature of the issue is unknown, though it may be due to in part to latency of retrieving STORET stations from the demonstration server. EDAS2 running on other servers does not display this behavior.
On the taxonomy browser, after adding a new taxonomy, you are not able to edit/save any taxonomy, although you can still view them. This appears to be an issue with the RichFaces component and its interaction with Seam.
